This Privacy Policy explains how ChatTree handles information through its pre-launch website and early-access waitlist. The advertised Instagram automation features are previews and may not yet be available.

2. Information we collect
Information you provide: When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. The form does not ask for your name, business type, Instagram password, or payment information.
Waitlist records: Our server records the date and time of the signup, your email address, and the source of the signup (website waitlist).
Technical information: Web hosting systems may automatically process IP addresses, browser information, request times, and diagnostic logs to operate and secure the website. Our waitlist endpoint also uses a one-way hash derived from an IP address and recent submission times to limit repeated submissions.
3. How we use information
- To maintain the early-access waitlist and send one launch announcement to the email address you provide.
- To prevent abusive or duplicate submissions and maintain website security.
- To operate and troubleshoot the website.
- To understand general website usage through Google Analytics only if you choose to accept optional analytics and the service is enabled.
- To meet applicable legal obligations where necessary.
We do not use waitlist emails for recurring newsletters, product promotions, or automated Instagram messages. Joining the waitlist does not create a ChatTree account.
4. Legal bases and choices
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for the requested launch email and, separately, for optional Google Analytics. You may withdraw either consent at any time. For limited server security and abuse prevention, we rely on legitimate interests where permitted by law.
You can request waitlist removal by writing to hello@chattr.ee. Analytics consent can be changed at any time using the Cookie settings link on the website.
6. Storage, retention, and security
Waitlist records contain a signup timestamp, your email address, and the source identifier. They are written to a server-side text file in a private directory outside the publicly accessible website files.
Waitlist retention: each record is scheduled for deletion 60 days after the date and time of signup, unless an earlier deletion is requested or applicable law requires otherwise. The server handler removes expired records during submissions; a separate daily cPanel Cron Job is provided for routine deletion even on days without new signups. The operator must enable that scheduled task on the hosting account to enforce daily deletion.
Hosting logs and rate-limiting records are separate from the waitlist and may have different operational retention schedules. Google Analytics has its own retention settings and aggregated reports; the 60-day rule above applies to the waitlist file, not automatically to data stored by Google. We encourage a two-month GA4 event/user-data retention setting; the site owner must configure this in Google Analytics.
We apply reasonable safeguards, but no online service is entirely secure.
7. International visitors and transfers
ChatTree is operated by CreatorStore Labs LLC in the United States and may be accessed internationally. Depending on the website hosting arrangement, technical data may be processed where the hosting provider operates. If you accept Google Analytics, data may be processed by Google and its service providers in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards and legal requirements apply.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent to waitlist emails. To make a request, contact us using the privacy email listed above. We may ask for enough information to verify that a request concerns your email address.
If the GDPR applies, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Certain US state privacy laws may provide additional rights where those laws apply to the operator.
10. Children
This website and early-access waitlist are intended for business users, not children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has signed up without appropriate permission, contact us and we will review the request.
11. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as ChatTree evolves. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required. Separate or updated disclosures will be provided before we introduce platform features that collect or process Instagram customer conversations.
